DRESSED WALLING

The dressed walling stone from our quarry in West Yorkshire is traditionally hand-dressed to create a pitched (raised) edge on one side. Our stone is a contemporary dappled grey/buff colour, which becomes more buff when wet.

Dressed walling can also be tumbled and/or blackened to create a more aged or weathered appearance. These finishes are popular with extensions to exisiting yorkstone buildings, where the stone needs to blend in naturally.
